Music Ministries at Beautiful Savior

Children

Part of our Sunday School program is helping the children learn songs and hymns of praise. The children usually sing once a month for our worship service. The children also play an integral role in the Christmas service both in telling the story of Christ’s birth and in singing the Christmas carols.

We feel that by having the children take part in worship they are learning evangelism and setting the stage for an active Christian life ahead.

Children ages 3 - eighth grade are invited to join us.

Adults

Our adult choir is relatively new. We have just recently organized into a group that practices regularly and sings in 2, 3, or 4 part harmony.

Our goals are not only to enhance the worship service but also to be musical leaders aiding the congregation in learning new hymns, psalms and liturgies.

The adult choir rehearses Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM. We try to sing at least once a month for worship. During the Advent and Lenten Season, we sing more often.

Anyone who loves singing is welcome.

Worship

The Lutheran Church has always been known to be a Church of singing. Beautiful Savior holds to that old tradition. We use a variety of liturgies, many psalms and a host of hymns to worship the Triune God more completely.

The children’s choir and the adults’ choir add to our worship. We welcome instrumental talents and solo voices or instruments. If anyone would like to volunteer in these areas, please let us know.

Our organists are also an important part of the worship.
